Elusive Peace –

The Mind Journal of a Person Living with Anxiety

Elusive Peace is a memoir that chronicles the deeply personal journey of living with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Written through lived experiences, the book takes readers into the darkest moments of mental illness—days shaped by fear, uncertainty, and emotional exhaustion.

The narrative follows the author’s path through diagnosis, treatment, and the slow movement toward remission, offering an honest portrayal of what healing actually looks like. It does not promise a cure. Instead, it acknowledges a powerful truth: anxiety may never fully disappear, but it can be managed alongside life.

This book leaves readers with hope—not the loud kind, but the steady kind. Hope rooted in survival, self-awareness, and learning to coexist with one’s mind while still choosing to live fully.
